Love en Franglais

Not quite the image one would expect stepping out of the Paris métro and onto the platform.

Eurostar Londres en Amoureux

This ingenious advertisement by Eurostar featured in many métro stations in 2006, luring people into romantic weekends away in London.

Here at Gourmantic, we love the creative minds behind the attention-grabbing campaign. After all, it combines the essence of this site, food and the romance of travel. With a dash of sauce.

But baked beans for a romantic interlude? For a hearty English breakfast, we’d rather tuck into a generous serving of bacon and eggs. Sunny side up, of course!

Corinne (Ms Gourmantic) has a strong penchant for packing a laptop, a camera, a large suitcase and roaming the globe in search of gastronomic adventures. An avid scribe, her repertoire includes works of fiction, short stories, travelogues as well as authoring blogs and photoblogs. She is currently writing a fiction novel.
