Luminous Sydney

If you don’t consider yourself lucky to live in the harbour city, the lighting of the Sydney Opera House sails will surely to change your mind. Part of Vivid Sydney festival, the white sails will take on various colour combination to create a living canvas.

Curated by Brian Eno, the Lighting of the Sails runs for three weeks, from 26 May to 14 June 2009, with the spectacular display kicking off from 6 pm till midnight. Bring your camera, tripod and rug up for the cold weather. Well worth the effort after partaking in the Light Walk event, showcasing projected light and colour over  monuments in the Rocks, around Circular Quay to Sydney Opera House.
