The Farewell Kiss

Eurostar Terminal. Waterloo Station. London. 2006.

About to check in on the way to Paris.

Farewell Kiss

I rummage through my camera bag to take a quick snap of the sign near the clock.  I turn around, camera in hand, the couple suddenly stop and exchange a quick farewell kiss.

I let myself go. I trip the shutter.

Note: The Eurostar that connects London to Paris no longer departs from Waterloo Station but from St Pancras International station.
