Sydney International Food Festival in Flags

October usually means Good Food Month, an event that showcases some of the best local culinary talents. This year, GFM has been renamed Sydney International Food Festival, or SIFF for short, giving the program an international flavour.

The month-long series of events include Hats Off dinners, Let’s Do Lunch, the Night Noodle Markets, Hands-on cooking classes, Shoot the Chef, Cocktails and Drinks just to name a few. Looking at the official program, it promises to satisfy any discerning foodie’s tastes. Due to a long-awaited trip abroad, we will not be able to participate in this year’s culinary festival.

Just take a look at the clever advertising behind it with a series of food flags. We have visited 8 out of the 12 countries featured which makes it difficult to choose the one that appeals most.
