Heather: I didn’t have internet on my phone either and didn’t want to for this trip. I can see the benefits of tweeting on the go, especially for sending twitpics. But at times, it can encroach on the enjoyment of the experience. I’;d much rather live it now and tweet it later. A few hours don’t make much difference overall.

I think I’ll try this more on my next trip, but it would help if I have an internet phone which I don’t write now, instead of my cheap & chearful – not quite so spontaneous tweeting from your hotel room rather than with a view of the Eiffel tower all lit up.
