For the second year running, Sydney has flicked the lights on the Vivid Sydney 2010 event. Featuring a festival of light, music, art and ideas, the lighting of the Sydney Opera House sails features spectacular illuminations and projections on one of Sydney’s most popular landmarks.
Crowds flocked around the Opera House to enjoy the show while photography enthusiasts dotted the harbour with their tripods and hefty camera equipment for a chance to capture the light and movement on the magnificent sails.
Vivid Sydney runs from 27 May to 21 June 2010. The Rocks Fire Water show in Campbell’s Cove runs from 11 to 14 June 2010. TheMacquarie Visions illuminationsrun nightly from 27 May to 20 June 2010.

Wow! When we were in Sydney, they had put the pictures of the Sydney footie team on the Harbour Bridge and we thought that was amazing. This is even better. What a spectacular idea.
