Artists Ben Frost, James Jirat-Patradoon, Shannon Crees and Vexta, have put their artistic marks on ABSOLUT MODE bottles which will be auctioned on ebay with proceeds going to the artists’ favourite charities. Measuring 500mm in height, the bottles are exhibited at Sydney’s Opera Bar from 15-29 February 2012.

Vexta: Behind Dark Matter – “A visual study of the artist’s reflection and reaction to the further exploration of this mysterious cosmic substance and its relation to light, dark and our place in the universe.”

The collaboration is an extension of ABSOLUT Vodka’s support of the OUTPOST Project, Australia’s first Street Art Festival which was held on Cockatoo Island in 2011. ABSOLUT has long been associated with images of contemporary art, as showcased in last year’s ABSOLUT Art Collection at the Ray Hughes Gallery.

  • Will there be future Absolut designer bottles? I’d be particularly interested in 700ml-1L size bottles, not the larger 7L display ones. Cheers!

    • ABSOLUT Wild Tea is the latest product but it’s not one of the designer ones you mention. We’ll be keeping an eye out, as ABSOLUT are known to align their brand with art.
