The ten finalists are Philip Gandevia (The Roosevelt NSW), Michael Chiem (Black by Ezard NSW), Tim Philips (Hemmesphere NSW), Ryan Gavin (Rockpool Bar & Grill NSW), Perryn Collier (Laneway QLD), Angus Burton (Canvas QLD), Joel Persson (The Alchemist VIC), Callan Green (Lily Blacks VIC), Dan Gregory (Black Pearl VIC) and Fred Siggins (Kodiak Club VIC).

Expert judges include Myffy Rigby of Time Out, Pat Nourse of Gourmet Traveller, Ben Shipley of Everyday Drinking, Chef Dan Hong from Ms. G’s and The Merivale Group and Chef Brian Geraghty from The Roosevelt.

The World Class cocktail dinner at Sokyo is priced at $180 per person and interested guests can book by calling The Star on 1800 700 700, speaking to an operator and mentioning ‘The World Class Event at Sokyo’.

This is a unique opportunity to become involved in Australia’s cocktail culture and the art of bartending.
