Best In Taste Awards at Taste of Sydney

Taste of Sydney launched for 2013 with a VIP Gala Night at the Miele VIP Lounge. Guests sipped on fine bubbles of Laurent Perrier Champagne and Dal Zotto Prosecco and enjoyed a host of canapés before the presentation of the Best In Taste Awards.

Pascal Aussignac, twice reigning champion of Best in Taste Awards in London launched the event with Pat Nourse, restaurant critic for Australian Gourmet Traveller hosting the food awards. Porteño Sydney was crowned Best In Taste. Runners up were Longrain in second place and Popolo in third place. Kitchen by Mike took the prize for Best Front of House.

Nick Stock presented the wine awards with Devil’s Lair Chardonnay winning the Best in Taste White Wine and Tulloch Pokolbin Dry Red Shiraz winning Best in Taste Red Wine.

Congratulations to all the winners. Taste of Sydney continues from Thursday 14 March to Sunday 17 March, 2013 at the Brazilian Fields in Centennial Park.
