Can you image what it would be like to be the private cook for a President in a traditionally male-dominated French kitchen?

Daniele Delpeuch was President François Mitterand’s private cook, and the movie Haute Cuisine, (French title, Les Saveurs du Palais) tells her true story through the character of Hortense Laborie.

Filmed on location at the Élysée Palace, in regional France and in Antartica, the movie is set to whet the appetite and stir the imagination of food lovers. Directed by French film director and screenwriter, Christian Vincent, the film stars Catherine Frot (nominated for a Cesar Award for Best Actress), Jean D’Ormesson and Hippolyte Girardot.

Haute Cuisine opens at cinemas nationally on April 25, 2013 and thanks to Transmission Films, we are giving away FIVE DOUBLE PASSSES to the movie.
