Stoneleigh Quay Pop Up Wine Bar

A little piece of Marlborough was the inspiration for Stoneleigh Quay, showcasing one of New Zealand’s premium wine makers, which was launched last Wednesday, 30th of October and running for eight weeks.

The vines at Stoneleigh’s exceptional vineyards are planted in the stones left by an ancient riverbed in Marlborough. Stoneleigh wines express the warmth of these sunstones in their fruit, producing fresh, clean and vibrant flavours, a true expression of their place and time.

Complimentary tasting menu of the night were Marlborough Chardonnay 2012, from the Vineyard Series and Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2013, Marlborough Pinot Gris 2013, Marlborough Pinot Noir 2012 all from their super-premium Stoneleigh Rapaura Series.

The newly released 2013 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, as well as the 2012 vintage recently won the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc Regional Trophy at the Decanter Asia Wine Awards.

Tapas were served all night along with live entertainment.

For the first four weeks, from Wednesday to Saturday, customers will be given the chance to enjoy a complimentary sample from the super-premium Rapaura Series range. So why not drop-in and enjoy these stunning wines.
