What’s better than guys wearing a suit, then “sold” to the highest bidder – all in the name of charity of course! Mr CBD, Sydney’s not-to-be-missed party for the flirty and fabulous, a male beauty competition for Sydney’s hottest man in a suit was held last night at the Argyle in The Rocks as part of Bars March.
Six finalists selected from a huge number of entrants paraded, answered questions, charmed the audience and strutted their stuff at the charity gala final hosted by Bars March brand ambassadors TV personality Dr Katrina Warren and former CLEO Bachelor of The Year David Whitehill.
At the gala, the audience put their hands in their pockets to bid to choose the winner and the finalist attracting the highest bid won the title.
Bidding was fast and furious for the six hot men in suits. Rhys Mugdan sold for $550, Vlad Milevski sold for $450, Kyle Eddy sold for $570, George Konstand sold for $1,000 and Braian Szwarcberg sold for $550. Last entrant Brixton Bykerk brought the audience screaming when he performed a strip tease. His charm took out the title, raising a winning $1,200. Kyle Eddy won the ‘clap-o-meter’ runner up position. All proceeds from the auction go to Animal Welfare League NSW.
Brixton was crowned “Bars March Mr CBD 2014”. As well as the title, he will enjoy bespoke prizes including an Institchu tailored suit, Pugnacious George Essential Pack and a SpaQ package from QT Hotels. The 3 runners up, Kyle, George and Rhys received Instichu gift certificates.
Bars March partner Suntory provided two delicious cocktails for the huge crowd, Russian Standard Raspberry Caprioska and Midori Sangria.
The Bars March event proudly raised over $4,000 for the Animal Welfare League NSW.
