Taste Orange @ Sydney & Pop Up Bar 2014

Taste Orange @ Sydney, a three day and night food and wine celebration in Martin Place in Sydney’s CBD was officially launched yesterday in conjunction with Destination NSW.

The region’s food and wine producers including Orange’s musicians and singers provided entertainment and a range of local and regional businesses to complete the Orange experience.

Participating wineries include, Angullong Wines, Ross Hill Wines, Cumulus Wines, Highland Heritage Estate, Patina Wines, Cargo Road Wines, Orange Mountain Wines, Rowlee Wines, Tamburlaine Wines Logan, De Salis, Phillip Shaw, Brangayne Wines, Faisan Estate, Small Acres Cyder, Heifer Station, Mortminer Wines, Twisted River, Carillion Wines, Printhie Wines, Charles Sturt University Winery and Bantry Grove along with food producers, Fresh Fodder, The Agrestic Grocer, Edwena Mitchell Catering, Racine restaurant and A Slice of Orange and Golf Orange.

The Pop Up After Dark Orange Wine Bar operates between 5pm-8pm with wines by the glass ($8 a glass) and delicious plates of food available for purchase from $5 per serve. Wine can also be directly purchased from the makers to take home.

Taste Orange @ Sydney runs on Wednesday 20 August, Thursday 22 August and Friday 23 August between 11:30 am and 2:30 pm. The pop up bar after dark runs between 5 pm and 8 pm.

So, come on down to Martin Place for a gastronomic taste of Orange in the heart of Sydney.
