The highlight of the evening was the private screening of an episode that was filmed in Victoria, after which Eddie hosted some Q&A time about the series and wine in general. He talked about his travels across Asia and Australia in search of new wine varieties, discovering local cuisines and pairing dishes with phenomenal wines. He also discussed his mission to revolutionise the way people consume Asian food with wine, enlightening them with fun facts on wine makers of the Asian region.

The main bar area centred around a large table with a selection of tasting platters of Quadrello di Buffala, Gogonzola Piccante, Fromager Blue Dauphinoise accompanied by bresaola and salami with Sonoma’s artisanal breads and muscatels from Formaggi Ocello. These were matched with Eddie’s own blends of Little Pig King Valley Rosé, Frederica’s King Valley Pinot Gris, from Victoria’s King Valley and Umami Sangiovese from Alpine Valley in Victoria.
