GQ Men of the Year Awards 2014 with Chivas

The GQ Men Of The Year Awards 2014 were held last night at the Ivy Ballroom with Ian Thorpe taking out the title of GQ Man of the Year.

Other awards celebrated the achievements of Australia’s leading men (and one woman) across comedy, film, music, food, sport, fashion and entertainment.

The GQ 2014 Men of the Year winners are:

Man of the Year – Ian Thorpe

Man of Chivalry Award – Hugh Evans
Woman of the Year – Cheyenne Tozzi
Legends of the Year – INXS
Creative Force: Animal Logic
Comedy Force: Christian van Vuuren & Nick Boshier (Bondi Hipsters)
Artist of the Year: Vincent Fantauzzo
Actor of the Year: Jason Clarke
Food Force: Matt Moran
Band of the Year: The Preatures
Media Personality of the Year: Sabour Bradley
Critic of the Year: Neale Whitaker
Men of Style: Jordan and Zac Stenmark
TV Actor of the Year: Don Hany
Entrepreneur of the Year: Nick Palumbo of Messina
Breakthrough Actor of the Year: Brenton Thwaites
Sportsman of the Year: Daniel Ricciardo
Fashion Designers of the Year: Strateas Carlucci
Double Act of the Year: Fitzy & Wippa

At the conclusion of the event, Chivas Global Ambassador, Max Warner took to the stage for the customary Chivalry Toast, raising a glass Chivas 18 yo.

A selection of Chivas cocktails were served throughout the evening by The Drink Cabinet including the Silver Fox Fizz and The Gentleman’s Agreement made with Chivas Extra.

The afterparty was held at the Ivy Den with Chivas cocktails, including the Sunset Boulevardier and the Clootie Signature Serve, a take on the Scottish pudding with ginger, orange, cinnamon and nutmeg with Chivas Extra.

The GQ Men of the Year Awards 2014 were held on Wednesday 19 November 2014 at the Ivy Ballroom.
