Laphroaig fans, your opinions are wanted. The Islay distillery has just launched a global campaign called “200 Opinions Wanted” as the search for the best opinions of the peated whisky begins.
2015 marks the distillery’s 200th year, and by offering your pearls of wisdom on the smoky spirit, you could be travelling to Islay in Scotland for Laphroaig Live, as a guest of distillery manager John Campbell whom we interviewed during his visit to Sydney for Laphroaig Live 2011. This year’s event is set to be a historic occasion as it has been nine years since the event was held at the distillery.
Time to crack open that bottle of Laphroaig and get creative. From 20 April to 1 August 2015, you can enter your opinions on the Laphroaig website for a chance to win and share on social media using the hashtag #opinionswelcome.
