Best New Sydney Restaurant & Bar Openings – June 2015

It never rains but it pours. Sydneysiders may be a bit miffed at all this wet weather but good times are to be had with new places to eat and drink and plenty happening in the suburbs as well.

Drake Eatery

Drake Eatery is the first restaurant of award winning Chef Ian Oakes (ex The Grand National, Paddington). Diners can either share plates, have a full meal or snack with the menu focused on seasonal and local produce. The idea is for a place where Ian would eat and with dishes like tea-smoked ocean trout and roast Thirlmere duck, you see why.
