With over 500 restaurants worldwide, Simmer Huang has opened in their fourth Australian venue in Chatswood.
The restaurant is located at Chatswood Interchange and has been designed to bring traditional elements of China with vivid red and wooden structures and areas with oak timber screens and frames.
Simmer Huang’s cooking method brings ancient family recipes to the restaurant’s Simmer Pots which are unique versions of traditional Chinese hot pots, with fresh ingredients and “secret” sauces. Diners can enjoy a theatrical element when Simmer Pots are assembled and cooked by Simmer Huang staff at each table.
The Chatswood venue is the first Simmer Huang venue to feature a bar. The cocktail list takes an innovative approach with ingredients such as peanut soup, Chinese hawthorn sugar, Makgeolli, and jujube tea.
Simmer Huag at Chatswood will be officially launched by former MasterChef Australia finalist Alvin Quah who has developed a guest recipe for Simmer Huang’s menu as part of its Simmer Series of ambassadors.
