Opera Bar Secret Garden & What’s On During Good Food Month

Opera Bar was transformed into a Secret Garden for one evening, sponsored by Hendrick’s Gin, Mumm Champagne and Pure Blonde.

The event featured a selection of food stations from an oyster bar to a dessert bar, including canapés, charcuterie and cheese boards.

A live band provided chilled tunes while a wandering magician kept guests entertained and another passed live reptiles around to eager guests.

During Good Food Month, Opera Bar is offering three special treats. The Gin Lover ($20), pairing a gin cocktail with a gin-cured Petuna Atlantic salmon canapé. Something Cheesy ($35) brings a baked Milawa Camembert with rosemary garlic confit, grilled sourdough and 2 glasses of wine. For those who like it sweet, the Popcorn Gaytime ($20) is back served with a glass of Yalumba dessert wine.
