With the sun shining, the city’s charms are out in force as are new places to relax with friends and enjoy a drink and some food.

Foys Kirribilli

With views over the water, the recently renovated Foys Kirribilli has opened in Australia’s oldest sailing club, Sydney Flying Squadron. Head chef Fernando Sanchez dishes up favourites and a seafood share plate of grilled prawns, calamari, BBQ octopus and pan seared fish of the day. Have a bite with wine from the extensive list or an ale and watch the world sail past.

Kansas City Shuffle

Kansas City Shuffle comes to the city via Ben Sweeten (Joe Black Surry Hills) and Chef Kaye Papworth (Dr Morse Melboure) with twists on American diner-style favourites. Think fried chicken on a house-made donut bun with slaw, pickles, & jalapeno aioli, for one. When settling in for lunch, enjoy a wine to while away the afternoon.
