Where to Eat and Drink at Wulugul Pop Up: Gin & It, Mamak & More

Wulugul Pop Up has opened along Sydney Harbour at Barangaroo, a 170 metre long space with waterfront alfresco dining experience unlike any other in Australia. Running for nine months, the pop up is bringing a new dining and drinking hub to Sydney initially with five successful operators before its expansion.

Here is where you can eat and drink at Wulugul Pop Up:

1. Belle’s Hot Chicken

A Melbourne favourite, Belle’s Hot Chicken comes to Sydney with brings deep-fried wings, drumsticks and other chicken cuts. Choose the level of heat you can tolerate, from mild to Hades hot, add classic sides and enjoy by the waterside.

Skip the long queues in Chinatown and head over to Mamak for Malaysian street-food with Indian inspired rotis and curries.

3. Gin & It

Mikey Enright and Petr Dvoracek of The Barber Shop have created a pop up gin bar experience with a large selection of gin including the rare 1495 Gin we reviewed earlier this year. Gin & It, the name of the pop up bar is also a variation on the martini. Expect various G&T, seasonal fruit cocktails, botanical driven cocktails and classics such as Aviation and Negroni pre-batched in bottles.

4. RivaReno Gelato

Cool down by the water with a taste of Italian gelato this summer at RivaReno Gelato where you can indulge in icy treats made with no hydrogenated fat, preservatives, antioxidants or artificial colouring.
