La Cantina @ Los Vida Crows Nest

Sydney is about to have a new bar with the upcoming opening of La Cantina. Located on the top floor of Los Vida in Crows Nest, the small bar channels intimate Mexican drinking joints known as Cantinas.

Dim lighting accented by pink neon signage, street art and a tribute wall to Mexican boxing legends, La Cantina is set to bring a vibrant experience to the North Shore.

The bar is a separate entity from the restaurant where patrons can enjoy cocktails, Mexican nibbles from the bar menu and discover the impressive tequila and mezcal collection with Los Vida’s Tequila and Mezcal Sommelier guiding through the drinks list.

La Cantina will be offering The Mexican Trio, a weekly selection of artisan tequila and mezcal with accompaniments selected to enhance the flavour of the spirit. The tasting ritual begins with sipping the spirit, then taking a small bite from the orange wedge with cinnamon and finishing with a house sangrita or a cold beer.

La Cantina launches on Wednesday, 23rd March 2016 and will be open Wednesdays to Saturdays from 5 pm until late.
