Brooklyn Depot, Surry Hills

Sydney is getting another American dining experience when Brooklyn Depot opens in Surry Hills at the end of the month.

Brooklyn Depot, Surry Hills

The Surry Hills venue will be the second location of the group which has gained popularity at the Gold Coast with its American vibe and dining experience along with a good bar offering.

The menu menu takes inspiration from Old Brooklyn street specialties such as burgers, hot dogs, salads and desserts. The double stack Depot Burger is set to become the signature dish, or you could inject your own chilli syringe into the FUHGEDDABOUDIT burger. Fries can be ordered plain, or ‘Brooklynised’ which means they can include bacon, onion rings, cheese sauce and frickles (battered and fried pickles). But it’s not all carbs. If you’re watching your weight, you can ‘Shun The Bun’ and have it served in a bowl on a Depot Crib Salad.

When it comes to desserts, it’s about indulgence with Caramel Pecan Brownies and award-winning thick Handspun Milkshakes.

The bar has a focus on brews and cocktails, and if you’re so inclined you can have alcoholic shakes like Gringo, made with ice cream, dulce de leche, salted caramel sauce, brownie bits and Vortik Fusion caramel vodka.

Brooklyn Depot opens at the end of April for 7 days a week from 11 am until late.
