Banksii Opens at Barangaroo

Banksii, a Mediterranean influenced, botanical focused vermouth bar and bistro has opened at The Streets of Barangaroo.

At the heart of the drinks list is vermouth, with over forty to be served straight, with tonic or in cocktails. Guests are encouraged to try vermouth over ice or tall with tonic and the drinks list comes with suggestions of how to best to enjoy each type. The food menu include Banksii chicken pate with muntrie jam and toast; kangaroo carpaccio with pickled radish and nasturtium; and  glazed roasted half duck with red vermouth soaked native plums. You’ll also find a a small selection of wine offered on tap, in addition to a 100 bin wine list focusing on Australian and Mediterranean wines.
