Papa Bo Min is the latest venue to open in Sydney from the Lotus Group (such as Lotus the Galeries, The Resident), a modern Chinese casual eatery with takeaway facilities and a strong focus on cocktails.

Located at Grosvenor Place in the Sydney CBD, the venue was designed by Paul Papadopoulos of DS17, also responsible for Lotus Barangaroo, Alpha Restaurant and Beta Bar.
Papa Bo Min’s “better for you” philosophy is based on showcasing that Chinese cuisine doesn’t have to be heavy with a tasty food menu. Think delicious Steamed Prawn and Calamari Dumplings, bouncy BBQ Pork Buns, earthy Mushroom Spring Rolls and Steamed BBQ Duck with Spinach Dumplings as well as other dishes from the kitchen.
If you’re in the vicinity of Papa Bo Min between 5 and 7 pm Monday to Friday, you can enjoy Happy Hour with half price cocktails and a $10 dumplings basket with your choice of dumplings.
The cocktail list by Kate McGraw, Group Bar Operations Manager is based on the Aperitivo with Asian twists. The Fino Fizz combines fino sherry with apple mistelle, blackberry and ginger syrup, house made cherry bitters and native citrus topped with soda water. Kate’s Hard Lemonade is not to be missed, a beautifully balanced mix of gin, milk oolong, native citrus, lemon aspen topped with Prosecco.
In case you’re wondering, the name of the venue is related to owner Michael Jiang’s father who is known as ‘Papa Bo Min’ by the Lotus Group team.
