Wild Turkey Bourbon has unveiled Master’s Keep 1894, adding to the latest release in its limited edition Master’s Keep series.

Wild Turkey Masters Keep 1894 Limited Edition is the third expression in Master Distiller Eddie Russell’s Limited Edition Series.

It follows from Wild Turkey Master’s Keep 17 Year Old released in 2015 and Wild Turkey Masters Keep Decades in 2016. However, Wild Turkey Masters Keep 1894 has only been released in Australia.

Visiting Australia to launch Master’s Keep 1894 during the Masters of Conviction Tour, Master Distiller Eddie Russell hosted a dinner and tasting where he explained the origins of the latest release. (See previous visit by Jimmy & Eddie Russell here)

Master’s Keep 1894 pays homage to Rickhouse A – the oldest rickhouse (warehouse) of the Wild Turkey estate and the place where he first fell in love with bourbon. The expression is a capture of that moment which marked the start of his journey to Master Distiller.

Master’s Keep 1894 is characterised by its fruity notes with layers of toffee and honey revealing candied pear, stewed apples and spice, leading to subtle oak and a long, lingering caramel finish.

During the Masters of Conviction Tour, consumers have the opportunity to attend in-store masterclasses hosted by Eddie Russell. Masterclass attendees who purchase Master’s Keep 1894 are in for a special treat.

He will apply his thumbprint to the bottle, reinforcing his personal seal of approval which is carried through the entire production and ageing process of the Master’s Keep series.
