Now in their fifth year in Australia, the awards mark almost a year of reviews of over 1,000 restaurants and 3,000 dishes in seven cities and the release of the 2018 Gault&Millau Restaurant Guide. The state of Victoria dominated the awards and the Yellow Rose Award which recognises the restaurant that has most successfully jumped the many hurdles faced by chefs and restaurateurs was awarded to Mathew Chan of Peacock Gardens, NSW.
