Jimmy Brings and Spotify know all about hosting a good party and they have released a limited range of Songmelier Edition Wines paired perfectly with music.
The three-pack Songmelier Edition wines includes an Australian Sparkling, Sauvignon Blanc and Reserve Shiraz and each wine is paired with a Spotify playlist so you can stream sick beats while sipping on your vino.
The playlists have been curated to beat match the aromas, characters and body of each wine. Accessible via the Spotify Codes on
the front of each wine bottle, wine lovers simply need to scan the code using the Spotify app to discover the tunes behind the tannins.
Into sparkling wine? It’s paired with Hip Hop, Bubblegum Trap and West Coast notes of Hustle and Grind. For a more refreshing palate, the Sauvignon Blanc is matched with Indie, Tropical House and Aussietronica – with a hint of Chillwave and an Electrofox finish. Shiraz lovers will be delighted by the smooth Jazz, raw Rock ’n’ Roll, soft Freak Folk and a Deep House finish.
Songmelier Edition Wines: Sparkling Tasting Notes
- Region: Yarra Valley 2016
- Character: Deliciously crisp, the aromatics of our Sparkling centre on green apple and bright citrus notes of lemon zest and lime cordial, with a creamy mid-palate maintained and a finish of crisp natural acidity.
- Pair it with: Hip Hop, the audioromas centre on Bubblegum Trap and West Coast notes of hustle and grind. A dirty Southern mid-palate maintained with dank Atlantic undertones and a finish of crisp East Coast acidity creates a remarkably dabbable wine.

Songmelier Edition Wines: Sauvignon Blanc Tasting Notes
- Region: Marlborough 2017
- Character: Classic but balanced Marlborough characters of melon, just-ripe pineapple and some grapefruit make this Sav Blanc restrained, zesty and refreshing. Just a hint of passionfruit on the nose, with a lively acidity and a citrus-clean finish.
- Pair it with: Melodic, invigorating and refreshing, the Sav Blanc pairs perfectly with Indie, Tropical House and Aussietronica. Just a hint of Chillwave on the ears, with ebullient acidity and an Electrofox clean finish.
- Recommendation: Break open the boujee and enjoy with oysters, seafood or goats cheese.
Songmelier Edition Wines: Reserve Shiraz Tasting Notes
- Region: Barossa Valley 2016
- Character: This rich, layered and velvety shiraz has ripe cherry and plum characters with soft tannins and a hint of spice on the finish.
- Pair it with: smooth Jazz and raw Rock ‘n’ Roll. Soft Freak Folk tannins and a hint of Deep House on the finish makes this full-bodied rockstar go down beautifully with power ballads.
- Recommendation: Enjoy with steak, cheese or when ready to rock out.
