World Tequila Day is fast approaching and here’s where to celebrate in Sydney and Melbourne.
World Tequila Day falls on 24 July, and in honour of the drink holiday, Tio’s Cerveceria in Sydney and Mamasita in Melbourne wil be joined by some of Australia’s best agave importers to celebrate independent and artisanal tequila.
Both venues will be holding free tastings on different days. The events are a great opportunity to sample and learn about the agave spirit from the importers direct. Following the tasting, stay around for a fiesta with tacos, margaritas and mariachi.
In the month leading up to World Tequila Day, both venues are running special menus consisting of a few special cocktails and a tailored sippers list.
