Now that winter has truly settled in, Bungalow 8 and Untied on King Street Wharf have transformed their garden’s into snowy winter wonderlands.
At Bungalow 8, enter through the light adorned archway and follow the tree-lined path to reach the six vintage-cool cabins, decked with faux fireplaces, stacked timber, cosy warm throws, and feature walls displaying old-school skiing photographs.
Book groups of 4-8 people and indulge in the new Woodlands Cabin Menu, feasting on woodfire pizzas served hot and fresh from the garden’s wood-oven like pork sausage and camp fire mushrooms or fried chickpeas and almond ricotta topping. Cosy up with winter snacks including campfire scallops and oysters, skillet s’mores and warm cherry wood smoked hummus.
A selection of Grey Goose Cocktails inspired by the French Alps include Grey Goose Le Grand Fizz with St Germain elderflower & Grey Goose Alpine Iced Tea with honeymead, blueberries and rosemary.
A Grey Goose Nitro Espresso Martini bar has also popped up in the winter woodlands garden at Bungalow 8 inviting you to experiment and garnish your own Espresso Martini. There are a range of sweet toppings to choose from including hazelnuts, candy floss, dark chocolate and marshmallows.
Over at the neighbouring rooftop bar, Untied, escape to a luxury ski resort set-up, with flutes of champagne from Moet & Chandon Ice Imperial and Glenmorangie smoking whisky cocktails. New winter menu features indulgent snacks like golden-honey dripped chicken wings and Glenmorangie Signet Whiskey crème brulee waffle cones.
