Gourmantic is a magazine-style website with a focus on experiential travel, food and drink, local and international restaurant reviews, bar reviews, events and interviews. Our website has a solid local and international readership and appeals to independent travellers and discerning foodies who are interested in quality articles and experience-based reviews and recommendations.

About Us

Gourmantic is a duo with Corinne (Ms Gourmantic) as principal writer/editor and Mr G (Mr Gourmantic) as photographer and contributor. We are a couple of travel and food enthusiasts living in Sydney, Australia. Travel, with a culinary emphasis has been a dominant feature in our lives, whether we are travelling alone, together or on business trips to various parts of the globe.

About the Authors

Gourmantic is primarily authored by Corinne who has a strong penchant for packing a laptop, a digital SLR, a large suitcase and roaming the globe in search of gastronomic adventures. An avid scribe, her repertoire includes works of fiction, short stories, travelogues as well as authoring blogs and photoblogs. She is currently writing a novel.

She has won first prize in the Grantourismo/HomeAway UK travel writing competition in the Travel and Food category.

With creative flair both inside and outside the kitchen, she has a reputation for being a secretive cook when entertaining at home. She respects authenticity in food, and loves most things French.

Mr G, her partner in culinary decadence, is solely responsible for introducing her to the hedonistic delights of alcohol as accompaniment to food. A seasoned traveller and bon vivant, he is a keen collector of music and a connoisseur of fine wines, though too modest to admit it at times.

Occasionally, guest writers are invited to contribute. Their opinions and recommendations are their own.

About Our Content

Gourmantic draws upon our combined travel, food and drink experiences. With the exception of Guest Posts and the occasional Sponsored Content, we have visited and dined at all the establishments we review in our articles.

While we welcome media invitations to food, drink and travel events, these may not necessarily be featured on Gourmantic. Please read our Media/PR page for further information. Our Portfolio page shows the breadth of articles we have featured in the past.

We also publish Degustinations, an exciting website serving bite-sized information about cool destinations to Eat, Drink, Shop and Go around the world.
