Yiamas Greek Taverna has all the elements of a big fat Greek feast. Traditional, rustic and bursting with a lively vibe that reminds you of hot nights in the Mediterranean.

You’ll find Yiamas Greek Taverna at a busy intersection just past St Peters station opposite Sydney Park. There are two sections to the dining room, the front part which houses the bar is predominantly occupied by Greek families. This is where the entertainment happens with bouzouki players turning the already buzzing room into a raucous party reminiscent of Athens nights.
To the back, and past the spit grill, you’ll find another section with Aegean blue hues and painted walls that attempt to recreate a Greek taverna, were it not for the plasma TV screen with a sports channel.
The dining rooms have blue tablecloths covered with white paper and simple crockery. The setting invites you to sit back, relax and enjoy a casual dining experience.
