Moët Ice Impérial White Party at Manly Wine

Manly Wine hosted a Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial White Party, serving a champagne designed to be poured and drunk over ice. Guests were asked to dress in white and were treated to a glass Moët Ice Impérial on arrival, served over ice with lychee and mint.

Moët Ice Impérial is inspired from chic locations around the world, from the South of France to the party capital of Ibiza where, for many years, champagne has been served over ice. But the ice quickly melted and diluted the taste. Moët Ice Impérial is set to retain its flavour and is designed to encourage spontaneity and casualness in drinking.

Packaged in white lacquered bottles with a black tie, a gold label and silver design, Moët Ice Impérial exemplifies the brand’s glamour, style and elegance.

When it comes to taste, it defies traditional champagne flavour. Very light and fruity with a hint of sweetness, it stand up against dilution as the ice melts.

Guests were also treated to a canapé menu included raw kingfish tataki on cucumber discs, miniature veal and chorizo sausage rolls, vegetarian arancini balls, and oysters served with a lemon sorbet.

Moët Ice Imperial is only available in 15 bars, restaurants and pool locations across Australia including Manly Wine along South Steyne. Its beachfront location makes it a great spot to sip on the summer drink after a day in the sun.

The Moët Ice Impérial White Party was held at Manly Wine, part of the Keystone Group, on Sunday 27 November 2011. Gourmantic attended the event as media guests.
