Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey Launch at Jack’s Hive

Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey launched in Australia last night at Jack’s Hive, a pop-up bar in Sydney’s Darlinghurst.

Jack’s Hive is the artistic creation of AZBcreative’s interior styling  team who transformed a vacant two-storey venue into an underground style bar with honeycomb-shaped Perspex, neon-light fittings and black cabled lights in yellow cages – a design created to mimic the warmth of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey.

Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey is the latest member of the Jack Daniel’s family which Jeff Arnett, Master Distiller, briefly introduced during his visit to Sydney in March. The whiskey is made by bringing Old No. 7 to 35% ABV then adding honey to smooth the flavour. It is the first whiskey to come from the distillery in over 12 years.

Five cocktails were specifically created for the event including the new signature drink, the Honey Jam Jar, made with lemon, honey and mint and the Honey Manhattan, made with Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey, Old No. 7, vermouth and bitters.

Media guests and VIPs were treated to canapés from Porteño’s Ben Milgate and Elvis Abrahanowicz who created dishes inspired by Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey.
