Part of Spectrum Now, the Nosh Pit launched last night at the Spectrum Playground, the food destination for festival feasting.
Located in The Domain and curated by Luke Powell of Chippendale’s LP’s Quality Meats, the Nosh Pit runs for 12 consecutive days from March 11 to 22, 2015.

Sink your teeth into smoked delights such as the Smoked Meat Sandwich or the spicy Smoked Sausage Sandwich with andouille and harissa from LP’s Quality Meats. Watch Via Napoli as they deep-fry a mouthwatering Pizza Frita – a folded pizza filled with salami, fior di latte and ricotta – then cut it into bite sizes. One bite and you may find yourself ordering another immediately.
The skewers from Hoy Pinoy are difficult to resist particularly the pork as it glistens with a sweet sauce, and Bao Stop Sydney’s fried Peking duck bao with cucumber and spring onion is the top pick.
Bishop Sessa is serving Corned Gundooee Organic Wagyu beef, choucroute and fig mustard in a brioche bun and Pokol are offering deep fried Korean pork dumpling inside a Vietnamese taco. Mary’s is flipping their famous burgers and serving a meatball sub which would appeal to die hard fans.
You’ll find Gelato Messina serving up nostalgia with gelato and desserts inspired by milk bars, and Black Star Pastry and N2 Extreme Gelato’s joint venture to bring sweet temptations.
Don’t forget to stop at Hendrick’s Parlour of Curiosities for curious libations and quench your thirst at Little Creatures and The Morrison bar.
The Nosh Pit runs from 11-22 March, 2015 and is located in The Domain opposite the Art Gallery of NSW.
This is such a great event!!!
Was so sad to see no one there, why didn’t they advertise this more!?
I hope they do more things like this in the future.
