What’s On During Sydney Bar Week 2017

The programme for Sydney Bar Week 2017 has been released with a host of activities, masterclasses, talks and special events jam packed over a 5 day period instead of the usual 4 days.

Bar Week 2017 runs from Saturday 16 September to Wednesday 20 September 2017 and to help you choose which events to attend, we’ve compiled a daily summary of what’s on during Bar Week 2017.

Saturday 16 September 2017

2pm to 4pm – Own your own bar or are planning one soon? Dan Knight, ex Hinky Dinks and author of The Small Business Samurai presents “It all starts with a vision” @ Longrain, 85 Commonwealth Street, Surry Hills

4pm to 6pm – Australian Aperitivo. Learn how to use native botanicals in both food and drink, or just sit and enjoy Aperitivo time @ Banksii Vermouth Bar & Bistro, 11/33 Barangaroo Avenue, Barangaroo. Cost = $15 cocktails

5pm to 7pm – Sydney Bar Week Launch Event @ Bulletin Place, 10 – 14 Bulletin Place, Sydney. By invitation only.

10.30am to 12.30pm – Bartenders Brunch @ Tio’s Cerveceria, 4-14 Foster Street, Surry Hills. Strictly limited to 100 – first in best dressed.

1pm to 4pm – Indie Spirits Tasting @ Restaurant Hubert, Bligh Street, Sydney. Cost = $55 (plus booking fee)

2pm to 4pm – BACARDÍ Classics Softball @ Centennial Park

6pm to 8pm –  Angostura Global Cocktail Challenge Australian Final, Lot 1 Sydney  18 York Street, Sydney
