If it isn’t their famed refined courtship clinics educating the sexes about etiquette, or Victorian titillation with gentlemen in dapper jackets and fair maidens, or an afternoon tea with the Adventurists and the inimitable explorer Jon Muir, Hendrick’s Gin always succeed in finding inventive ways to market a “most unusual gin” and have a jolly good time with it.
Midgets at the door, stilt walkers and a spooky setting the tone for Hendrick’s Gin Theatre of Curiosities. Live theatre, copious amounts of Hendrick’s Gin cocktails and a bewildered audience made for an extraordinary event at a secret location unravelled as Slide, home of live cabaret in Sydney’s Oxford Street. To satisfy the voyeurs, here is a titillating peek at some of the highlights.
